__KIR was founded in 1979 by Danny Brill, who still owns and operates the company. Danny spent years as a keyboardist — touring and recording — prior to founding KIR, which gave him the depth of production and studio experience that sets KIR apart.

As a fellow musician, Danny’s knowledge of the gear and production makes him exceptionally well qualified to provide the technical expertise required to determine rental needs. Equipment is meticulously maintained and service is highly personalized.

KIR originally rented keyboards exclusively and still specializes in them, but over the past 30+ years has expanded into many other types of equipment, such as amplifiers, drum machines, sound systems, DJ gear and more. Don’t let our name fool you — we’re much more than just keyboards!
